Using this site

Silvermitra is an informational tool. The rates and calculators produce estimates, based on the inputs you provide and an indicative silver rate that is refreshed once a day. They are not guarantees, and they are not a transactable quote from any jeweller, dealer, platform or financial institution. Always confirm the final price with the actual seller before you buy or sell. How the rate is built, and what it leaves out, is explained on our methodology page.

No warranty

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of prices, rates, tax or duty figures, or any other information on this site. The silver price and the exchange rate come from third-party providers, and a rate can be delayed, wrong or unavailable. Some starting values in the calculators are examples rather than researched data, such as the 12% making charge in the jewellery calculator and the assumption of no buyer deduction in the old-silver calculator. The import duty we add is a stated rate that we are still checking against the official notifications. See our About page for specifics. The site and everything on it is provided "as is".

Nothing here is investment, financial, tax or legal advice. See our disclaimer. Silver prices can fall as well as rise.

Your use of the site

• Give accurate details when you send us an enquiry, and only enquire about things you are entitled to ask about.
• Do not misuse the site: do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, or use automated means that put a heavy load on it.
• Do not present our rates or pages as an official quote, or as coming from an exchange, bullion association or government body.

Links and commercial relationships

Silvermitra currently runs no advertising and no affiliate links, so using a link on this site does not earn us a commission. If that changes, we will label affiliate or sponsored links clearly where they appear and say so on our About page. Links to other websites are for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made, or losses suffered, based on information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may change the site, and these terms, from time to time. When we change the terms we will update this page and the date above. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
